Milk Thistle was founded in 2017 by Lisa Harrison, an artist and archivist with an abiding love of beautiful stationery and paper goods. Beginning with a small line of Risograph printed greeting cards and gift wraps, Milk Thistle’s product line has expanded to include handmade notebooks, art prints, and in 2023 our first zine: the Wildly Visionary Women Fortune Teller.

Milk Thistle’s bold and colourful designs make a big impact but leave a small footprint. Our greeting cards are now carried in select shops across North America, but they’re still made by Lisa right here in Guelph, Ontario, using her trusty Riso printer, vibrant rice-based inks, and recycled papers.
